With an optical field of view of approx. 35mm (10x eyepieces, 1x objective), you have a large overview, but can zoom in to the detail.<\/p>\n<p>The Nikon high-end stereomicroscope SMZ1270 is the improved successor to the well-known Nikon stereomicroscope SMZ1000 and is positioned in the medium magnification range of the Nikon stereomicroscope product portfolio, but is so ideal that it can withstand almost any application.<\/p>\n<p>OCC stands for oblique coherent contrast , a form of oblique lighting method developed by Nikon. Compared to conventional diascopic illumination that illuminates directly from below, OCC illumination applies coherent light to samples in a diagonal direction, adding contrast to colorless and
